Steffen Schmidt is an American film, TV, and video game score composer and conductor best known for his scores for "Passage to Mars", co-produced between Jules Verne Adventures and NASA, as well as the Chinese kungfu film "Assassinating The Tiger”, directed by Xuegang Cai. He composed music for a pilot for Starburns Industries & NBC Universal, additional music for Häagen Dazs, Animal Planet, and a plethora of other projects.
Steffen graduated from Berklee College of Music in Boston, USA and has studied privately with Hollywood Composer George S. Clinton. His first class education has provided Steffen with all the knowledge and tools to have success in the film music industry. His connection to South Korea, both socially and musically, comes from a fascination with Korean culture since a very young age and the extended time he has spent there over the years.
